Queensland Heritage Park

11 Exhibition Avenue, Biloela, QLD

The Queensland Heritage Park complex in Biloela, Central Queensland, represents a celebration of the nation’s glorious past and the pioneering spirit of Australians.

Through a remarkable range of exhibits, the Queensland Heritage Park provides an insight into the past for present and future generations.

The restored vintage church and railway station buildings are a testament to early pioneers and families who settled in the Callide and Dawson Valleys. The walls of these buildings are lined with historical photographs and associated memorabilia from the families who shaped the district’s early days. Each photo is like a window back in time.

The Callide Dawson Machinery Preservation Club grounds at the rear of the complex compliment the many exhibits found inside the main display area, housed in the “Silo” structure originally built to showcase Australia’s rich primary industries at the World Exhibition held in Brisbane in 1988.

Take the time to explore, discover and relive the past as you browse through the machinery sheds and the large array of vintage agricultural machinery. Marvel at the workmanship of these beautifully crafted machines, which have been collected, preserved and placed on display for the enjoyment of the travelling public.
