Spin a Yarn

The small shearing town of Amby have transformed the local hall into a ‘Spin a Yarn’ display, showcasing the vibrant history of the town. This display features over five different spinning wheels that can be used to spin your own wool and has many examples of different types of wool and fibres. Such as alpaca, camel, mohair, cotton, recycled cotton, recycled silk and feathers.

Along with the incredible display, enjoy a cuppa and a scone on your next visit to Amby!
