DAY 1

Grass Tree Drive (Grafton Terrace Scenic Tourist Drive)

If you're an avid four wheel drive enthusiast who loves to get out an explore nature, then this drive is for you! Along the way you will see an abundance of native flora and fauna, including the prehistoric Grass Trees and a stunning ever-changing landscape that will inspire as you travel. Please be aware that parts of this road are quite sandy, this journey is suitable only for high clearance/four wheel drive vehicles and should only be taken when the road is dry. Sections of this road may not be suitable to caravans.
DAY 2

Yuleba - Wallumbilla Cattle Country Loop

If you are looking to leave the well travelled highways and gain an insight into the history of life on the land, then this a great drive to take. Along the way, visitors will take in a series of historic sites, giving a wonderful insight into the early settlement of the area. All roads on this journey are sealed, making this suitable in all weather, though please be aware of industry vehicles that could be using this road and always drive to conditions.
DAY 3

Jackson - Noonga Country Insights Drive

If you're looking to be enthralled into the changing landscape, gain in insight into life in their rural communities, life on the land and the oil and gas industry, then this drive is for you! This drive includes both sealed and unsealed sections and is therefore recommended for high clearance vehicles only and should not be taken following rain. Sections of this road may not be suitable for caravans.
DAY 4

Wallumbilla - Yuleba Southern Country Drive

This easy drive provides a wonderful opportunity to gain an insight into some of the region's most productive agricultural land, as well as fascinating heritage sites. This drive contains both sealed and unsealed sections and is therefore recommended for high clearance vehicles only and should not be taken if the road is wet. Sections of this road may not be suitable for caravans.
DAY 5

Pickanjinnie Early Settlement Drive

The area surrounding Wallumbilla was once described as the largest wheat and dairying district in the Maranoa. The land was known to be exceptionally fertile and well suited for agricultural development. Following this First World War, the land surrounding this drive was divided into soldier settlement blocks. This easy drives takes you through some of the region's earliest settlement villages, providing a wonderful insight into the lifestyle of early settlers to the region. If you time this drive for late afternoon, there will be some wonderful opportunities to see a sunset like never before. This drive includes both sealed and unsealed sections and is therefore recommended for high clearance vehicles only and should not be taken if the road is wet. Sections of this road may not be suitable for caravans.
DAY 6

Mitchell - Dunkeld Outback Landscapes Drive

Like many of Queensland's outback towns, the keen sense of community spirit in Dunkeld is both inspiring and humbling. This easy two hour drive takes in the historic Ke iff Monuments to the south of Mitchell, the community of Dunkeld (where visitors can even enjoy a round of golf), continuing through the stunning red soil landscapes and agricultural land of the back road to Muckadilla. This drive includes both sealed and unsealed sections and is therefore recommended for high clearance vehicles only and should not be taken if the road is wet. Sections of this road may not be suitable for caravans. Please beware of livestock as sections of this road are not fenced.
DAY 7

Cobb & Co Way

Visitors are invited to relive the history of an Australian icon, with a journey along the Cobb & Co Way. This 76 kilometre journey provides a wonderful insight into the lifestyles of early settlers and the journey of passengers using the coach service. The last Cobb & Co mail service in Australia travelled from Surat to Yuleba on 14 August 1924. This drive includes both sealed and unsealed roads - however the unsealed sections can be avoided. Sections of this road may not be suitable for caravans.
DAY 8

The Arcadia Valley Loop

At any time of the year the Arcadia Valley Loop is an absolute stunning drive to take. On this journey you will pass through the Lonesome section of Expedition National Park and experience some breathtaking vantage points, scenery and agricultural landscapes before taking in the grandeur of Nuga Nuga National Park. Be sure to time your journey to capture a sunset at Lake Nuga Nuga! This drive includes both sealed and unsealed roads and is therefore best sutied to high clearance vehicles and not recommended following rain. Sections of this road may not be suitable for caravans. Be sure to fuel up before departure as there are no fuel stations between Injune and Rolleston.
