The Digging at Dawn tour takes visitors on a 2-hour guided fossil hunt at one of the region’s richest Early Cretaceous fossil sites. Led by an experienced guide, participants will search through ancient marine sediments that have yielded some of Australia’s most significant prehistoric fossil discoveries.

Whether a first-time fossil hunter or a seasoned enthusiast, this hands-on experience offers a unique opportunity to uncover a piece of Queensland’s ancient past while learning about the remarkable creatures that once inhabited the inland sea covering north-west Queensland.
