Get ready to run, rodeo, race and rock at the 2027 Julia Creek Dirt n Dust Festival, when a tiny North West Queensland town of just 550 people comes alive with more than 3,000 festivalgoers for one epic outback weekend.

Friday night fires up at Dirt n Dust Central with heart-pounding rodeo action with bronc riding, the cheeky Australia’s Best Butt Competition and live music under the outback stars.

Saturday kicks off with the South32 Dirt n Dust Adventure Run – a wild, muddy obstacle course guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs. Then it’s trackside for the Multicom Resources Artesian Express Horse Races at the Julia Creek Race Club, combining country racing, fashions and all the atmosphere of a great outback race day.

As the sun goes down, head back to Dirt n Dust Central for Dirt n Dust Rodeo bull-riding action, Australia’s Best Butt Competition and another huge night of live music.
