The dash for tickets to one of Australia’s most iconic music events is on again, with tickets to the 2016 Birdsville Big Red Bash selling fast.
Held in the Simpson Desert just outside of Birdsville, at the base of the famous ‘Big Red’ sand dune, the festival has been expanded to a three-day event from 4-6 July 2016.
Headline acts, Jimmy Barmes and Paul Kelly, will team up with other Aussie rock legends including Glenn Shorrock, Brian Cadd, The Angels, Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Brand & the Outlaws, Mahalia Barnes, Christine Anu, Russell Morris, Adam Harvey, Shane Howard, Cole Finley and MC, Wilbur Wilde, to provide three days of entertainment.
The family-friendly event was attended by 3000 people in 2015, including 600 children. Camp under the outback sky at ‘Bashville’, the small town that emerges on the site during the Festival, and enjoy some of the most spectacular scenery this country has to offer.
More than just a music festival, the Birdsville Big Red Bash brings people from all corners of the country to experience the music and the destination, and reconnect with the red dirt, expansive sky, wide open space and distant horizons the make the Outback the magical and mesmerising place that it is.
