Step into the world of discovery this Queensland Dinosaur Week with a special twilight event at the Eromanga Natural History Museum.

Join PhD candidate Shauni Tighe for an engaging evening of cocktails and conversation as she shares her research into the important role volunteers play in palaeontology. Gain a behind-the-scenes perspective on what volunteering really looks like, from hands-on fossil preparation in the lab to fieldwork in remote Outback locations.

Discover how passionate citizen scientists contribute to real-world research and help uncover Australia’s ancient past. The evening will also explore the unexpected, including insights into Myxomycetes (slime moulds) and their place in understanding complex ecosystems and deep-time environments.
