A 4WD vehicle with high clearance is necessary as roads are unsealed and wheel ruts can be deep. Be alert and prepared for changes in weather. Even small amounts of rain on the park or in surrounding areas can cause floods at any time of year. If heavy rain or minor flooding occurs, move to higher ground. Rain can make roads impassable so always be prepared and have at least a week’s worth of extra supplies in case of stranding.
