Outback by the Sea Film Festival

Held in the picturesque Gulf of Carpentaria in Karumba, Queensland, the Outback by the Sea Film Festival is a free two-day annual event.

The Festival kicks off with an outdoor short film festival held in Karumba QLD, up to 15 short films will be screened and awarded monetary prizes by a panel of celebrity judges. Live music, food and films! Bring a picnic rug, your friends and family and sit back to enjoy a night under the stars!

Organisers advise films are unclassified and some are suited to 15 plus years.

The second day features a filmmaking and acting workshop held in Karumba from and is a chance to learn from industry experts about the industry.
