Ash’s has been looking after visitors and locals for over 35 years – the cafe sits on the crossroads just before you reach the Gulf of Carpentaria coastline – or enjoy a leisurely stroll including the Norman River mouth, beach fishing spots, boat ramps, Karumba town walk and more.

Ash’s welcomes all visitors and locals as well as catering and accommodating coach groups. Souvenirs, fishing tackle, clothing – just explore.

Complimentary transfers to and from Karumba airport and just ask for a quote for to and from Normanton airport. 21 seat coaster bus is available to take local town tours with prior booking/arrangement or for transfers further afield.

Ash’s Cafe provides a variety of meals, snacks and drinks from breakfast through to salads, Gluten-Free options and especially their local wild-caught seafood – fish n chips like it should be – plus Ash’s own Croc Pies, Croc Burgers and mouth watering prawn sandwiches are just a little of what is on offer. Great coffee plus smoothies, milkshakes and more.
