Smithy’s Arvo Cruise: Cruise the Thomson River in the early afternoon. Learn more about our magnificent waterway which begins at Muttaburra, 120kms northeast of Longreach. After your cruise enjoy a leisurely drive along the Thomson River bank before returning to Smithy’s Camp to enjoy nibbles at sunset followed by a delicious two-course camp oven themed dinner.

See the curious Emmottu2019s short-necked turtles at sunset bend.nnPurchase an icy cold drink from the licensed bar to pair with complementary savoury nibbles. As the vibrant sunset colours fade into starlight, they dock at Smithyu2019s Outback Dinner and Show. Relax under the stars with table-service dining featuring camp-oven themed modern cuisine. Live on stage, the talented musical performer will entertain you with their songs and stories.nnPickup times are from 4pm, and the experience lasts approximately 4.5 hours. This tour operates 7 days a week from 27 March u2013 30 October. A good selection of wine and cold beer is available for purchase from their licensed bar. Live on stage their talented outback performers will entertain you with their songs and stories. A night out at the award-winning Smithyu2019s is a u2018must dou2019 when in Longreach!nnThis tour operates in conjunction with the Droveru2019s Sunset Cruise. Pickup times are from 5pm, and the experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours. Smithyu2019s Outback Dinner and Show booking only are available Monday, Wednesday & Friday April-May. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday from June 1 u2013 Sept 30.

Snacks and icy cold drinks available for purchase from the licensed bar.nnPhoto opportunities are endless, but the stop at Sunset Bend is a hands-down favourite. As you leisurely cruise back to the dock, you will see stunning vibrant sunset colours as they fade into starlight.nnPickup times are from 5pm, and the experience lasts approximately 3 hours. This tour is available Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in November, December and March.
