Experience one of South West Queensland’s most unique country events when the Thallon Truck Pull returns.
Hosted by the Thallon State School P&C Association, this much-loved biennial event combines country strength, community spirit and family fun.
Watch teams of six compete to pull a 12-tonne prime mover over 25 metres in the fastest time, with both Men’s and Women’s competitions promising plenty of excitement and friendly rivalry.
There’s something for everyone to enjoy, including a free Kids Zone with giant jumping castles by Bouncing Buddies, face painting, colouring-in activities, market stalls, delicious country-style food, Truck Show & Shine, vintage vehicles and live entertainment.
Special guest Renee “Brownhatt” Spencer will also be joining the event, sharing practical demonstrations, stories and plenty of country know-how.
Proudly organised by the Thallon State School P&C Association, the event raises funds to support Thallon State School and improve opportunities for rural students.
Whether you’re competing, cheering from the sidelines or simply looking for a fantastic day out, the Thallon Truck Pull is the perfect opportunity to experience genuine outback hospitality and the warm community spirit that makes Thallon so special.
Come for the Truck Pull… stay for the people, the atmosphere and an unforgettable day in the heart of the Queensland outback.
