NEW EXPERIENCES FOR COBBOLD GORGE

Cobbold Gorge, a hidden oasis deep in the Gulf Savannah, has developed two new experiences to share even more of Outback Queensland and its stories with visitors from April 2016.

Travellers explored the gorge’s landscape from the water during a one hour stand up paddle boarding guided tour, held daily from the 25th to 30th March, 2016. The tour took you through some of the ancient water passages and costed $50 per person. Practice sessions were also available for beginners on Cobbold Dam for $10 per hour.

Before or after your visit to Cobbold Gorge, take in the “Forsyth by Night” tour, which launched in May 2016. Including dinner, the tour introduces visitors to the history, events and characters that make Forsyth the hidden gem of the Savannah Way. These two new experiences complement the many other activities already available at Cobbold Gorge, including guided tours, bush walking, kayaking, and the modern ensuite accommodation, licensed restaurant and bar and inviting infinity pool.
